QWAK,I just posted this to a YAHOO BOARD,:s1: I will be ASALTED by the IDIOTS agen I know, but it is FUN trying to show them the LIGHT!:grin:

Some may need a VISUAL METAPHOR for what to expect in BOTH RE and for FIAT CURRENCY ----- THIS may HELP -- but I dbout it! ;)

A visual METAPHOR for the HOUSING and FIAT CURRENCY crash situation that IS HERE and HAPPENING and ON GOING! Being in DEBT is like pretending EVERY DAY will be SUNNEY and WARM but THEN reality happens and people get STUPID and TRY to keep DRIVING after and IN an ICE STORM! They have LOST all sence of REALITY!

THIS is what has happened very gradgualy with OUR colective perception of WHAT money IS and BECAUSE it is SO disconected with REALITY, ABSURED things happen rather frequently. The DOT COMS and the HUMUNGUS SCAMS were ALL indications of the INSANITY that had replaced RATIONAL THINKING and EVALUATING, because IF you PERCIEVE no DANGER and believe totaly -- then --- there IS NO DANGER! This is MASS DELUSIONAL THINKING!

IF you DON'T get IT then at least it is INTERTAINING watching other people DO STUPID things! :)

Good points, Duck.

I am trying to make the disconnection work for me instead of against me.

Fiat and plastic do not 'feel' like money to me. I think they don't to most people and they express that by overspending the monopoly or 'play money'.

But gold and silver I hate to part with. So savings in those I do not want to let go of. Thus, during this PM bull, it is so easy to not raid the savings!

I also try to think of money I am using in the casino of stocks and options as digits and fiat money, so I can keep emotion from messing with how well I play those games.

Our emotional reactions to fearing loss and greed for gain are the most common ways we mess ourselves up in stocks and that kind of investment.

Of course, that is in the context of paid off house and cars, savings put away in real money first. Then just a little, comparatively, in the casino.

I'm not sure what to hope for as the meltdown progresses. A bad depression might bring a serious clean up of the whole financial system and wake up every single sheep. But it would involve so much suffering.

Unable to restrain his curiosity, the man turned to the woman and said,I couldn't help but notice that you've sneezed three times, wiped your nose and then shuddered violently. Are you ok?"

"I am sorry if I disturbed you, I have a very rare medical condition; whenever I sneeze I have an orgasm."

The man, more than a bit embarrassed, was still curious. " I have never heard of that condition before" he said. "Are you taking anything for it?"

The woman nodded, "Pepper. "

Mostly that was a responce post to a LIAR/LAWYER who makes a living ADVISING stupid people with too much $$$$ how to INVEST. He is part of the MATRIX so can NOT posably accept the concept of REAL MONEY --- GOLD. He has been on my case going back to when I bought GOLD @ 257.00 and last year had to BUY several posters "FRUIT CAKES" off a BET that GOLD would go DOWN! :emotions16: He also LIKES to play POKER and GAMBLING is a big deal for him.

When I bought GOLD @350.00 on my credit card at ZERO intrist for 12 Mo. and EXPLAINED how to do it and that it was not only reasonably SAFE but a GIFT from the BANKERS IF they avoided the TRAP (missing or a late payment) HE went BALISTIC! :s10:

It is kind of FUN for me to banter with him yet a little frustrating that he and so many others JUST DON'T GET IT!:bawling:
